Visitor's Barn
The kitchen has basic facilities - fridge, cooker, kettle, toaster, electric sockets, dining table and washing up sinks (but there is no hot water tap).
There are a few pots and pans available, plus crockery, cutlery and most utensils.
There is a charge of 50p per day for use of the fridge, and any other use of the kitchen is an additional £1 per person (including kids) per day.
You may be sharing the barn with other campers or volunteers. We rely on users of the kitchen to keep it tidy. This does not always happen!
If you wish to store your own food and utensils in the barn, you should bring a storage container with a lid.
Use of the barn is subject to availability, and may sometimes be booked at short notice by groups for exclusive use. THE BARN IS NOT AVAILABLE FROM JULY 15-31 2015, because of the Permaculture course we are holding.
Use of the main room and kitchen is available for organised events including overnight use if desired (price on application). The main room is about 10m x 5m, with sofas and a wood-burner.

Organic Vegetables and Fruit
We can provide organic vegetables and fruit boxes for you.
The veg boxes cost £9, £11.50, £14.50 or £18.
Fruit boxes are £6, £9 and £12.
They are packed on wednesdays, and available wednesday to saturday. Please order by the previous sunday.
All veg is from Keveral or other local organic growers.
Soft fruit is from Keveral, other fruit is imported.

Keveral's Water
Our water supply is from our own spring in the woods. It is pumped up and treated. It is tested for quality each year. Sometimes there may be a malfunction in the system, and the water needs to be rationed. We usually become aware of a problem before we run out, so we are able to fill storage containers to keep us going until the problem is fixed. This happens about once per year. We cannot guarantee that there will always be water for showers. But we do guarantee to always provide water for drinking and cooking. It is helpful if you have your own water container in case of problems.

Campfires
There are shared campfires in The Orchard and The Funky Field that you can cook on or relax around. There are metal grills to rest your pans on.
You can also have your own campfire or barbecue by your tent, by arrangement with us, if it is raised off the ground and there are no other tents close by.
If you are staying in a yurt, there is a campfire for your personal use.
Firewood is provided at an extra cost, and is a reasonable price. You must not help yourself to firewood nor take wood from the woods.

Rocket Stoves
These are outdoor cooking stoves that heat a pan quickly and efficiently using small diameter firewood. They are available free with yurt or bell tent hire, otherwise £5 per stay, or they can be purchased for £50. They are supplied by Wild Stoves.

Taxis from Liskeard and Looe
These will cost approx £20 from Liskeard. Sometimes there may be one waiting at the train station, otherwise you will have to phone for one.
You will have to pay them about £4 extra to drive down our lane (which is half a mile long and bumpy).
Quick Cabs / Express Taxis 01579 348525 / 344599 (2104: £18 to top of our lane / £22 to the farmhouse)
Anytime Taxis 01579 346007
Town Cabs 01579 344678
Duffey Cab 01579 349125

From Looe, it will cost £10-£12. There may be one waiting at the train station, otherwise there is a taxi rank by the bridge, 5 minutes walk away, or you can phone for one.
