One Community Ltd
The house and farm-buildings are owned and managed by our housing co-op, One Community Ltd (OCL), which purchased Keveral in 1997 after previously renting from Patchwork Housing Association.
OCL is a fully mutual housing co-op, managed by and for its tenants, who are also its members/directors.
The farm buildings provide workshop and storage spaces, and there is also a Visitors Barn for events, courses, volunteers, campers and table tennis !
Keveral Sustainable Land Holdings Ltd
The farmland, about 25 acres, is owned by our land co-op, Keveral Sustainable Land Holdings Ltd (KSLH), whose aims are to manage the land ecologically and productively.
Keveral Farmers Ltd
KFL is a worker's co-op, which oversees the management of the farmland.
Land use includes vegetable production on field plots and in polytunnels, orchard and soft fruit, woodland, and two camping areas. We also have meadows which are not currently used.
Most parts of the farm are rented out to members of the co-op who can then use their areas for personal income generation.
KFL also manages the veg boxes which are delivered to about 100 households each week. (Some of the produce comes from other organic farms).
The veg box business has its own website: keveral.co.uk
Keveral is the longest continuously certified organic farm registered with the Soil Association.
