Everything Else: Andrea 07771 630032

Bring Everything you need with you
Our farm lane is half a mile long, and our car parking could get congested, so we want to limit movements along our lane.
We are 3 miles from the nearest shop (in Downderry).
We are 4 miles from Looe.
We are 8 miles from the nearest supermarkets - Morrisons and Lidl at Liskeard.
SO PLEASE BRING EVERYTHING YOU NEED WITH YOU - including booze - there is no bar.

Vehicles and Arriving
How to Get to Keveral
Please arrive at least one hour before dark if possible (there are no lights in the campsite).

The lane is a bit rough, but this is not a problem if you drive slowly;
(Some taxi drivers are not willing to drive down our lane, and if they are, they will charge a bit more for doing so).

Towards the bottom of our lane, just before the houses and farm-buildings, GO LEFT at the SMILEY FACE for the camping and car parking.

NOTE: The first house, on your right in a sunken position, is our neighbour's house - do NOT park here or go here under any circumstances !
Make sure your children know NOT to go there, and do NOT approach their white horse which is penned in.

Please let us know if you are bringing a vehicle.

Camping and Campfires
Contact Oak on arrival to be shown where to camp. Some pitches are reserved.
Campfires only in the designated places.
Firewood is provided only for the main campfires. You will need to buy firewood from Oak for the other campfires.

Dogs
You can only bring a dog if you have arranged this in advance.
You must be aware that we have free-range chickens.

  • dogs on lead around house and farm buildings
  • clear any mess - can be put in overgrown areas (not in a plastic bag)
  • do not allow dogs near the vegetables
  • dogs can be off their lead in the camping and the woods so long as they are kept under control and you know where they are

Toilets
We have one flush toilet, and 4-5 compost toilets (which are sit-down only). To reduce the demand on these, please feel free to pee in the bushes, and don't use the sink by the flush loo for washing. Thanks.

Other Points to note

Do NOT call at the farmhouse, except by invitation or in an emergency.

You may find a torch very useful.

There is only one flush toilet, but there are also compost toilets.

If you wish to arrive before Friday or stay Sunday night or beyond, normal camping rates apply, and this must be arranged with Oak: oaksandapples@yahoo.co.uk

Travelling by car or taxi

Walking up from Seaton (if you have traveled by bus from Liskeard or Plymouth)
Please see: Walk from Seaton to Keveral
The walk goes up Keveral Lane and then through the woods, and takes about 15 minutes. Do NOT walk up Looe Hill.
Please note: there is no mobile phone signal in Seaton
