As well as three yurts for hire, we also have a Bell Tent. They can all comfortably sleep four people.

The Bell Tent
The bell tent is 5m diameter. It has a double futon mattress, and a carpet covers most of the floor. A foam mattress can usually be provided if needed (small double size). It is a comfortable, inexpensive and convenient alternative to bringing your own tent. Bedding is not provided (except by arrangement).

It is usually located on 'The Ridge', on the edge of our woods, surrounded by nature in a sunny and sheltered position. It is on the way to the beach, and on calm nights you can hear the sea.
The Ridge is away from other campers, but there is pitch very close by (an 8m x 6m oval) which goes with the bell tent, so can be used by you or your friends. It is 330m from the unloading point and 420m from the shower room and Visitor's Barn. A wheelbarrow is available to help move your things.

The bell tent can also be moved to The Orchard or The Funky Field if you prefer, but there may be an extra charge for moving it.

Bell Tent Fees
You pay the normal camping fees plus the hire cost of the tent.
The Hire Fees for the Bell Tent:
Low Season £30 for one or two days, £40 for 3 days, £50 for 4 days;
Peak Season £60 for up to 3 days, £70 for 4 days.
Subsequent days are £5.

Deposit against Damage (refundable): £50
Discounts:
£10 if you pay in full at the time of booking (including the deposit against damage), and
£10 if, in addition, you book for 7 days or more.
There is a further discount if you are also booking a yurt.

Bedding: Please bring your own bedding - duvets, pillows and a double sheet or cover for each futon. If you travel here by public transport, we may be able to provide bedding for you, for an extra charge.
Cooking Utensils: We may be able to provide pots and pans and other utensils for campfire cooking (usually only if you are travelling by public transport) for an extra charge.
Accessibility: You must be reasonably able-bodied to use the yurts and the bell tent if they are in The Orchard or on The Ridge, which are at least 200m down a gentle slope from the car-parking and shower room. As the orchard is terraced, there are steeper slopes below each terrace, and up to the compost toilet.
